Our first home baseball game is tonight, Thursday, Sept. 12, at the
Tri-Township Park in Troy. We’re playing at Field #7 located by the skating
rink. The game begins at 4:30 p.m. so athletes should plan to be there no later than
4:00 p.m. Go Blue Jays!
We will also play a home volleyball game tonight against Zion Staunton.
Game time is 6:30 p.m. for a “C” Team game only. Eighth grade athletes
will not be playing in tonight’s game. Athletes should plan to be at the game
30 minutes before playing time. As a reminder, the girls need to be dressed and ready when they
arrive at each game. Knee pads and shoes should be on, hair should be pulled
back, and all jewelry should be removed. I encourage the girls to bring
a water bottle, too.
Volleyball Parent Volunteers:
I have Davidsons scheduled to work scorebook, I will work scoreboard (and assist scorebook), Langes at snack bar, and Bequettes to work admissions at our volleyball game tonight. Please arrive by 6:00 p.m. unless you are scheduled to work admissions. Volunteers working admissions, please arrive by 5:45 p.m.
CLASS
COMPETITION: We will continue the competition for the
“Class with the Most School Spirit” during the Fall sports season! The names of
the students in attendance are recorded at each home baseball or volleyball game
and the class with the highest percentage in attendance wins the Spirit Stick.
At the end of the season, the class who has won the Spirit Stick the most times
will also win a special class party reward!
Wear your Tiger Red & support our sports teams tonight!
